Writes Family Sagas To Warm Your Heart.

Beamer Street 2 and more…

Hi there,

I hope all is well with you, and you are looking forward to the warmer spring days to come. I have been pottering – I love that word – getting everything in the greenhouse ready for the new plants to go in, like an expectant mother preparing the nursery, excited at what the new growing season will bring.

I’ve also been working on the second book in the Beamer Street series, which is set in 1939, in the run up to WW2, to see how Mary Jane, Molly, and their brood cope with the uncertainty of war to come. You can pre-order a copy here:

Also, I have news! The Mersey Mothers, set in 1953, the Coronation year of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2, sees the women of Reckoner’s Row, preparing for a good old street party knees-up, and also looking forward to the joyful wedding of Evie Kilgaren to Danny Harris – if it ever takes place, because lurking in the shadows is someone who is out to ruin Danny’s business. But that’s not all! The Mersey Mothers is available on the Kindle Monthly Deal at a reduced price for the month of March. The Mersey Mothers: The BRAND NEW gritty historical saga from Sheila Riley (Reckoner’s Row Book 3) eBook : Riley, Sheila: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store

Until next time, take care and look out for each other.

Sheila xx

    1. Thank you for letting me know, Kathleen! I love writing about the past, especially the early twentieth century, it was a time of so much change. I hope all is well with you, and you continue to enjoy my books.
      Best wishes
      Sheila 🙂 x
