Hello Lovely Readers!
Remember when I said, the next Beamer Street book is set in the run up to WW2? Well, I might have been a bit hasty on that one, because, although that novel has been written, we – my wonderful editor Caroline, and I, decided that it would be a good idea to not have such a long gap between book 1, Finding Friends in Beamer Street, and book 2 A Safe Haven on Beamer Street.
That is why we are back in the dockside Street in Liverpool in 1924/1925 and we meet up with Mary Jane and Molly and their families.
We also meet some new characters who will play a bigger part in future Beamer Street books – and what a cast of characters they are too. If only I could write all their stories simultaneously!
My imagination feels as if it has been electrically charged with their stories, and they are all shouting to be heard at once.
Quieten down over there!
But before we get to those characters, I must introduce you to Elodie Kirrin, a young woman with the talent to heal, who is running from a secret life so dark, she may never heal her own broken heart.
However, even though she finds A Safe Haven on Beamer Street, the story does not end there…
